In 1961, Preston C. Carlisle, our firm's founding partner, established his law firm in the historic Preston King Building in Ogdensburg, New York. The building, built in 1800, is named after United States Senator Preston King, a relative of Mr. Carlisle, who resided there during his senate term.  Until his retirement in 2018, Preston worked to build one of the most prominent law firms in the North Country.
